ABOUT THE EVENT
Exhibiting Practice is day-long activation at STABLE that includes open studios, programming, workshops, performances and an after-party. As STABLE moves in a new direction, prioritizing artistic practice, scholarship, and experimentation, this activation serves as strategic experiential marketing. Through the day’s activities, we hope our audience leaves with a new understanding of STABLE’s direction, and excitement to participate in our development.
This Lithograph Workshop will introduce participants to the process of Lithography, albeit a modern version of an antique technique. They will draw on a pronto plate, which is a frosted film made for this technique. The process will foster the understanding of water repelling oil and oil repelling water.
This workshop begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 4th & is FREE but requires an RSVP : )
